Schedules and routes of some minibuses to change as of December 7

Considering a proposal of minibus transportation company "Rīgas mikroautobusu satiksme", schedules and names of several minibus routes and minibus one route will be changed as of December 7.

As of December 7 new workday and holiday schedules will be introduced for minibus routes No. 222, 270 and 280 to improve the regularity of traffic.

As of December 7 minibus No. 222 will be also changed. Starting from this date, its terminal in the city centre will be MTS (Minibus station), and on the way to the city centre minibus No. 222 will let passengers to get on/off at terminal "Purvciems" of trolleybus No. 17 and 23.

For Riga residents and guests to better orientate themselves in the minibus network, several minibus routes will have their names changed as of December 7 – minibus No. 200 will change name to "Railway Terminal Square – Vecdaugava", No. 206 to "Bus station – Mežciems", No. 222 to "Central railway terminal – Pļavnieki", No. 236 to "Baznīcas Street – Zolitūde", No. 237 to "Esplanade – Imanta" and No. 280 to "Bus station – Purvciems".
